Change is a good thing, or so they say, however, there the fact that there is comfort in consistency as well. I am not sure which opposing statement I am leaning towards right now. I wondered if I would miss some of the luxuries in which I had grown accustom, a community playground across the street, a resort style pool, everything perfectly landscaped and maintained, etc. However, after two weeks I have to say I don’t miss a thing.
The house needs some work, I think the boy is running himself ragged trying to rewire light switches, figure out the surround sound, patch the walls where scones once were, and
put out all the little fires take care of all the surprises we find around here. The baby girl has adjusted well and loves going up and down the stairs. She has been amazing.
More about the house to come, for now, I have to put a little one to bed.
