What is it about pregnancy that makes every girl around the pregnant person automatically soon to be pregnant too? Two of my co-workers have announced their pregnancies in the last month, and I can’t even count the number of, “Are you next?” or “I think something is in the water, you better be careful!” I have gotten this week. It’s as if pregnancy is something you can “catch”. Most of the people that are making the comments don’t really even know me that well and I think people don’t realize how personal they are getting with their questions and comments. It’s not that we don’t want to ever have kids or that we never are, we just aren’t pregnant right now and probably won’t be in the near future, and there is nothing wrong with that.
