What could be more fun than playdough?

This week my class will be making models of the earth out of playdough. So, my project for the day will be making about 6 batches of playdough. By the end of it my hands will be a tiedye of different colors thanks to the amazing amount of food coloring I will be using.

Traditional Play Dough

1 cup flour
1 cup warm water
2 teaspoons cream of tartar
1 teaspoon oil
1/4 cup salt
food coloring

Mix all ingredients. Stir over medium heat until smooth. Remove from pan and knead until blended smooth. Then add the food coloring and knead some more.
