We found out today that with the original surgery my brother in law's cancer was removed. However, now they have to decide about the next surgery, how much should they remove to ensure that the cancer won't return. We are praying for wisdom that they will make the right choice.
ETA- There were some questionable lymph nodes and a full neck dissection will need to be done along with the surgery to remove the rest of the cancerous thyroid. They will be heading to see a specialist in Miami, hopefully soon.
